// Biography //
Hello. I'm not sure where to start so I'll just jump right into the deep-end. My name is Andrew Eather. I'm 23 years old from the small costal town of Portland in south west Victoria, Australia. For most of my life I have been studying computers and IT, but over the last 8 years I've been heavily into design, programming, scripting, and digital art, this page for example is one of my latest works.
Occasionally I write fiction and poetry, but I'm not really very good at it. I tend to read a lot, different things; I get board with genres quickly and tend to jump around in my interests. The same is reflected in my taste in music, movies, and TV. History is also a passion of mine, I love learning about things that happened ages ago that we are doing again today, the irony appeals to me.
I'm generally willing to try anything once, I'm fairly open minded in regards to a lot of things, sexuality, race, gender, politics, but on other issues such as capital punishment I'm very conservative. But hey there is a reason I chose to name my personal site after this famous quote by Louis Aragon;
"Light is meaningful only in relation to darkness, and truth presupposes error. It is these mingled opposites which people our life, which make it pungent, intoxicating. We only exist in terms of this conflict, in the zone where black and white clash."
It may give you some more insight into me. ;-)
For some information about my family, I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers, two girls and one boy to each my mother and my father. My mother and her lot live about 150kms away in South Australia and my father lives a little ways out of town with his family.
I've lived with my maternal Grandparents for most of my life, starting since I was about 3 months old. My grandfather or Poppy as I called him passed away 5 years ago, I still miss him. I also live with my cousin Gordon, who the less said about the better and Tootsie… Now he is a story… correction he is a 1000 page novel ;-) Trust me he is… Unique… and I love him more then life :-)
I have more then a few dreams and aspirations in my life but since I feel dreams loose there lustre when you tell others about them I will refrain from boring you with them. I will however say that I have a desire to spend time in Rome and Paris among other European cities.
