Im taking without permission and they can sue all they want. :-p Rating: PG~Im being good tonight. Spoilers: Everything from Season two is Fair Game. Dedication: To my Kimmie. Im all free now :-) Notes: Can anyone guess what I did over the weekend? LoL. Anyways I know the story line is stupid and makes no sense but hey there's Kate & Faith. What more do you need? :-)( And it's only a tiny bit of Faith and Kate.) "Faith Please??" Cordelia begged the slayer. Faith scrunched up her nose and shook her head. "No way C. Ain't gonna happen." "I'll be your best friend." Cordy smiled as she tried her best to charm the slayer. Faith snorted. "You are my best friend. and besides Angel, Kate, Wes, and Gunn, Im your only friend." Cordy pouted. "You forgot Dennis. He's my friend." Faith grinned. "Okay and Ghost boy. Im still your best friend." Angel stood in the doorway and watched as the two brunettes in his life fought juvenilely. Cordy's hazel eyes lit up as she smiled. "Yes you are. and Best friends do things for each other." She pointed out. Faith took a deep breath. "How did you deal with this for the last two years?" She asked Angel. Angel shrugged. "Just give in Faith. Save yourself some time." Angel gave a grin as he walked over to them. "What is Delia trying to make you do now anyway?" Faith wrinkled her nose in disgust as Cordy smiled. "The spa." Faith answered distastefully. "You say it like it's a bad thing." Cordy pointed out. "It is a bad thing." Faith retorted. "What's a bad thing?" A new voice joined their conversation. All three occupants turned to face Kate as she walked into the office. "The Spa." Faith answered. Kate arched an eyebrow. "The spa? It's a bad thing? Is there some Demon thing there?" She looked at Angel wearily. After the past few weeks of Demon hunting with them, Kate just wanted a break. Faith laughed. "Yes there's a demon thing there. and It's called Cordy." Cordy pouted again and turned to Kate. "Fred gave me passes for the Spa. I was gonna invite you and her but your girlfriend is being a horrible best friend." Cordy tried her best to guilt Faith. It didn't work so she figured she'd use Kate. Kate turned to Faith. "I'd like to go to the Spa. You can stay here if you want." She turned to walk out of the room. "all by your little self." She added as an afterthought. She than went upstairs to change. Faith turned to Cordy and gave her a look. "You did that on purpose. You knew she'd make me go." Faith pouted. Cordy smirked. "Nope. She said you didn't have to go." Faith stuck out her tongue as she faced the seer. "You know damn well Im not gonna go all weekend without her." Cordy shrugged. "It's not my fault you two are joined at the hips." She turned away as she began looking on the desk for something. Faith made another face as she rolled her eyes. "That was low C. Im gonna go pack." She turned and left. Angel looked at his seer. She was grinning away as she searched. He chuckled softly. "You just love winning don't you?" Cordy looked up from her task. "Well Duh! Don't you?" She shuffled a few things around and started pulling open the drawers. Angel smiled again. "Of course. Who doesn't? What are you looking for Delia?" Cordy slammed the last drawer shut and signed deeply. "My nail file. It was here yesterday." Angel looked up in confusion. "Aren't you going to a spa? Don't they have those things there?" He asked. "Well yes but I wanted mine for now. I chipped my nail and if I don't fix it, it might break." Cordy held up her nail for inspection. Angel shook his head and walked over to the desk. Pulling his seer into his arms he kissed her lightly. "Don't you have better things to be doing before you leave me for three days?" Another kiss on the nose, one more on the head, and finally the lips. Cordy leaned into the embrace and smiled. "What could I possibly be doing that's more important than my nail file?" She asked teasingly. Angel growled softly. "Me." With that he descended upon her mouth once again. "Yo get a room already." Gunn smirked. Cordy and Angel slowly pulled apart. Gunn walked over and flopped down on the couch. Wes smiled politely and sat down next to him. Fred blushed and looked away. Cordy rolled her eyes. "Get a girlfriend already." Gunn shrugged. "Nah. All the good ones are taken and the rest just aren't in the game." Cordy laughed softly. "Right." She turned to Fred and smiled. "You coming with us to this spa thing?" Fred shook her head. "No thanks. Im gonna stay here and research the rest of the portals and the scroll." Cordy shrugged. "Suit yourself. But you'd think being trapped in Pylea for 5 years would make a girl crave a spa." Gunn burst out laughing. "Not every girl is like you Barbie." Cordy picked up the closet book and tossed it at Gunn's head. Wesley picked up the book and looked at it closely. "Cordelia, don't you have to go pack? and Gunn, don't you have something to do also?" He walked over and placed the book on the desk. Cordy turned and kissed Angel lightly. "Get a roo-..." The rest of Gunn's sentence was cut off by a pillow to his face, "Dude. English man, that was not cool." Gunn tossed the pillow back n the couch and grinned as Cordy left. When Cordy left, wes turned to face Angel. "When are you gonna tell her?" Gunn stopped joking around and turned to face Angel as well. "I can't tell her. I've tried." Angel looked down. Wesley touched him lightly on the arm. "None of this is your fault." Gunn stood up and walked over to Angel. "It's not your fault man. You know that so don't start brooding. You know how much Cordy hates it." Fred opened up a book and walked over to Angel. "I think I can find the portal that the other slayer went through. It's might take a while though." Wesley took a breath. "Angel you have to tell her. She deserves to know." Angel's hard gaze met Wesley's sympathetic one. "No Wes. She doesn't deserve that. She deserves a normal life, With happiness and none of these pain in the ass visions that are killing her." Gunn looked up. "Angel you have to tell her about the visions at least." Wes took a step back before he responded. "Angel, Ginn is right. Your don't have to tell her about Buffy but you do have to tell her about the visions. She has the right to know that their killing her." Wes's voice got a little harsher. "She has to know that one day, one day soon, one of these visions are going to be her last because the pain is going to kill her. She's not cut out for these things. She's only human Angel. A Mere mortal. She can't handle them much longer." Angel ran his hands through his hair. "Don't you think I know this?" He growled. "Cause I do. But tell me Wes, How do you tell the woman you love that she might die because of the burden she took on to help you? How do you think I feel? She won't even go to the oracles to give up the visions. She's bound and determined to be there with me, for me to help me with my redemption. How do I tell her that my redemption doesn't mean a damn without her? Tell me. How do I tell her all of this?" Gunn looked up. "Just like that man. Just like that." Wesley nodded as he walked over to the desk. "Go to the oracles for her Angel. Maybe they can help." ******************************** Meanwhile upstairs, Kate was packing her bag for the spa. She was randomly throwing things into the bag. She was exhausted. The past few weeks had been hell on her. The only good thing was Faith. Speaking of that good thing, Faith walked into the room and smiled proudly. "I'm done packing. Are you?" Kate looked at her bag and back at Faith. She raised an eyebrow. "Your done?" She asked incredulously. Faith nodded. Kate shook her head. "Nope Im not done yet. and I still need a shower." Faith raised her eyebrows. "Alone?" Kate grinned. "Well......." Faith jumped up and ran over to Kate. Kissing her softly for a few moments she pulled back. "So still alone?" She asked. Kate seemed to ponder it for a moment and than she grinned. "Yep still alone. I need more convincing." Faith grinned. She loved a challenge. Faith leaned forward and brushed her lips over Kate's softly. Licking her bottom lip, she pulled Kate a little closer. Kate's lips parted, and when they parted Faith's tongue entered her mouth and Kate let her in with a soft moan. Kate's hand came to rest on the side of Faith's face and Faith's hand went the back of Kate's neck. Pulling each other closer their lips met again and again in a passionate, hungry embrace as their tongues dueled with each other and their bodies strained to make contact. After a few moments, Kate pulled away and grinned. "wanna join me in the shower?" She asked with a small laugh. Faith shrugged lightly. "Nah I told C I'd help her pack." She joked. Kate slapped her arm lightly. "Right." She rolled her eyes. "Go get in the shower and Im gonna finish packing." She than turned back to her dresser and began throwing more stuff on the bed. Faith watched carefully. "Jesus, We're only gonna be gone for 3 days. Your packing just like Cordy. I think she has like 4 bags." Faith watched Kate for a few more minutes before going into the bathroom. She started the shower and stripped her clothes off. Stepping into the shower she closed her eyes as she let the water soothe her. She knew that they couldn't help Cordy. The visions were getting worse. Every since she got back from the Host's homeland, her visions were killing her. Literally. Her hangovers were longer, the visions more painful, the graphics more detailed. Faith hated it all. Kate stepped into the shower a few minutes later. Leaning over she placed a light kiss on Faith's lips. "Deep in thought?" She asked with a smile. Faith smiled. "Kinda." They met in a passionate kiss and Faith let all thoughts of Cordy slip from her mind. ***************************************** A few hours later, the 3 women were in the car driving to the spa. Faith fell asleep in the back seat almost immediately. Kate kept her eyes on the road as Cordy played with the radio. "Are you happy working with us Kate?" Kate looked at the younger girl in surprise. "Yeah. Why?" Cordy shrugged. Tact wasn't exactly her strong suit. "Well I mean after what happened with you, I just wanted to know if you were happy. And your not working with us as some sorta repayment to Angel for saving you." Kate stopped at the light and turned to face Cordy. "Yes I am thankful for Angel saving me. I do regret losing my job and yes things have been well hectic lately but I am happy and Im not gonna go over the edge again. In fact, Im not even gonna go near the edge again." Cordy smiled and nodded her approval. "Good. Im going to sleep now." Kate laughed softly and turned her attention back to the road. Eventually she pulled up to the Stars and Moon Spa. It was very beautiful. She looked around in awe before waking up her companions. Cordy got out and began unpacking as she gazed around in a child like manner. Kate opened the back door and tried to wake Faith. She shook her and tugged on her leg. Faith wasn't moving. Kate shook her head and crawled into the back seat. Leaning down she placed a kiss on Faith's cheek. "Wake up sleeping beauty." She whispered. Faith wrapped her arms around Kate and tugged her on top of her. "You missed." She stated. Tugging Kate's lips down to her she kissed her hard and thoroughly. "That's how you wake someone up." She pointed out, grinning. "Hello you two. You can do that in your room if you get out of the car." Cordy gave them both a look before grabbing her four bags and heading for the service desk. Kate and Faith exchanged an amused glance before grabbing their bags and following her. After checking in and setting in, Kate and Faith left Cordy to explore. Faith walked over to Kate and wrapped her arms around her from behind. "What ya thinking?" She asked. Faith rested her head on Kate's shoulder. Kate gazed out the window at the stars. "Nothing really." Faith shuddered lightly. "This place is giving me the wiggings." She stated. Kate turned in her arms. She stole a quick kiss before responding. "The wiggings? Why?" Faith shrugged. "It's just feels kinda creepy. Im gonna go explore." She kissed Kate once more before leaving the room. She walked around the halls of the spa and turned down a dark hallway. Just as her spidery senses kicked in some man stopped her. "Can I help you?" He smiled politely. Faith smiled back. "No thanks. I was just looking." The man waved his hands around. "Feel free. We want all of our guests to feel right at home." Faith smiled again. This man was a little on the crazy side. "What's in that room?" She pointed to the door that made her slayer senses kicked into overdrive. The man turned to the door behind him and smiled. "That my dear girl is the couples room." At Faith's blank look he explained in better detail. "The couple goes into the room for an hour and than they are told what to do by the speakers in the room." Faith raised an eyebrow. "Does someone watch?" The man laughed. "No of course not. It's a CD that plays every hours. Hence the couples room only being for an hour." Faith just gave him a look. "OK. SO can I go in there?" She asked. The man shook his head. "Sorry. Only couples aloud." Faith shook her head. "Ok so If I go get my girlfriend than can I go in there?" The man smiled. "Yes." He glanced at his watch. "In 15 minutes you may have the room for an hour." Faith smiled and nodded her thanks. She went back to the room and flopped down on the bed. Kate came out of the bathroom and sat down next to her. "Did you find anything?" She looked worried. Faith bit her bottom lip. "I don't know. Maybe. We'll find out in 15 minutes." Kate looked up. "What's in 15 minutes?" Faith grinned. "You, Me, and the Couple's Room." Kate smiled. "Ok." Faith and Kate left their room and entered the hallway to the couples room. As they entered the room, Faith got goosebumps. She knew something wasn't right. *************************** Back in LA, Angel stood outside the postoffice as he said the chant and sprinkled the herbs around. When he was finished there was a flash of light and he was standing in front of the Oracles. "Lower being What offering have you brought us?" The male oracle looked at Angel with distaste. Angel reached into his pocket and pulled out a necklace. It was a locket of sorts with a watch inside. The old Oracles liked time. Seemed to riddle away with it. Angel hoped the new oracles would like it too. The female oracle floated the necklace over to her. "Time. A rather nice offering if not a little off." Angel didn't say anything. The oracle continued talking. "So little time. So much time. Never enough and always too much." Angel's brow furrowed in confusion. The female oracle smiled. "What is it that concerns you human?" Angel looked up. "I have a question about my path of redemption and about my seer." The male responded in cryptic kind. " We are all travelers on the journey of life. We follow many paths to reach our destinies, and sometimes we require guidance." Angel stifled the urge to groan. "I have my path. The one you laid out for me but what of my seer's? What's her path?" The female looked up. "Her path is yours." "Her path is killing her than. My path is killing her." Angel growled. "Give her a new path. A different path." Angel begged. The male oracle waved his hand. "Your seer is stronger than you give her credit for. You are our warrior and she is your seer. Without her you are not a warrior and you could not follow your path." Angel growled again. Part anger and part frustration. "I know she's strong." He ground out through gritted teeth. "But the visions are killing her. My last seer was half demon. He was strong enough to handle the visions. My seer now is only human. She can't handle them." The female smiled once again. "The worse of her visions are over. The pain and the after effects will tone down. She's going to need her strength for what's coming. You mustn't worry about her anymore." "The worse is yet to come? What's coming?" Angel had a million questions. The male oracle waved his arms again. "You will know when it's time." And with that Angel was shot out of the chambers on his ass. He stood up and brushed himself off. He then turned back to his car and went home. For whatever was coming he had better be prepared. ************************** Cordy moaned softly as the masseuse took out all of her tension. She closed her eyes as she listened to the soft music playing in the background. "Enjoying your stay madam?" Cordy looked up in surprise. She smiled at the man above her. "Yes thank you." She put her head back down. The man cleared his throat and smiled politely when Cordy arched an eyebrow at him. "Your friends left you a message to meet them in the Sun hall in 20 minutes." He smiled once again. Cordy nodded her head. "Thank you." "My pleasure Miss." He smiled again and left. Cordy sat up and stretched. She felt worlds better. She grabbed her clothes and walked into the changing room. Leaving the oil room she wandered around the halls until she found the Sun hall. She snorted softly as she looked around. Where was Faith and Kate? ********************* Faith walked around the room, running her hands over the walls. She didn't see anything and her slayer hearing didn't pick up anything. Kate sat on top of the pillows and watched. Faith started tugging at the laps and candle holders on the wall until Kate started laughing. Faith turned around with a slight glare. "What?" Kate tried to muffle her laughter. "Nothing. It's just funny. you tugging on lamps and stuff. Very amusing." Faith raised an eyebrow. "really?" She asked. She smiled a very sexy smile as she inched closer to Kate. Pouncing on her Faith began ticking her. Kate struggled and tried to get away. When that didn't work She cheated. She grabbed Faith and Kissed her senseless until her hold on Kate loosened. When they broke apart, Faith looked serious. "I've seen it done it movies and stuff. You know secret rooms and all." Kate just nodded as she got up and started helping Faith. She went to one end while Faith worked at the other. After a few minutes Kate called out. "Faith?" Her voice was scared. Faith ran over. "What is it?" She looked and the wall and pulled Kate behind her. The wall was moving. Faith didn't know what the hell was going on. She pulled Kate towards the door and tried to open it. Even using all of her slayer strength, she couldn't get the door to open. *********************** Cordy wandered around the halls for a few moment. Glancing at her watch she started grumbling under her breath. "Probably busy being wrapped up in them selves and I could be getting wrapped up in herbal wrap right now." "Your friends aren't coming." Cordy turned to see the polite man from earlier. "Why not?" The man smiled. An evil smile this time. "Im keeping them busy." Cordy turned to leave but the man stopped her. "I won't hurt you. Not intentionally." Cordy scoffed lightly. "Right. That's what all the evil guys say." The man smiled again. "You think you know? You think your ready? You have no idea little girl." Cordy rolled her eyes. "Alright can the PTB talk and tell me your deal." She crossed her arms and waited. The man stepped closer and Cordy stepped back. "The slayer is dead." Cordy gasped softly. "What did you do to Faith?" The man shook his head. "Not that one. The other one. The guardian of the hellmouth slayer. She is dead. When you open the portal you opened other ones. The slayer went into one of them. When you and the vampire with a soul came back. You opened another and closed off all of the other ones." Cordy looked at the man in confusion. "Buffy's dead? Why are you telling me this? Your lying. Angel would of told me." She thought back to the night they had returned home. Willow was there. She talked to Angel alone and Angel never told her why. Not really. He said she needed a book for research. The man looked at Cordy seriously. "You, young woman. You are curse with the visions. The only way for you to save the slayer is too open the portal back up and you must deliver yourself or the vampire with a soul to one of the portals. Only than will the other slayer return to guard the hellmouth. If you don't choose and do this, the hellmouth will stay unguarded and demons will pass freely. Wreaking havoc, bringing hell on earth and chaos will reign. The balance is tipped right now and you are the only one that can tipped it back." Cordy looked at him in shock. "Your wrong." She ignored that awful feeling in her stomach. "No dear girl I am not." The man even managed to look a little sad. He pitied the girl really. Either give up her life or give up the one you loved, all for the good fight. Cordy looked down. "Why me? That's such a big decision? Im just a girl." The man touched her hand lightly. "You are much more than a girl. You are a seer. A warrior of the good fight. A saver and a leader. You can do this and you will." And with that the man was gone. Cordy found herself out in the parking lot, near her car with her bags and everything. ************************** Faith tried the door a few more times. When it wouldn't budge, she went back to the wall. Ripping off one of the candle holders she began beating the walls. Everytime she made a crack blood oozed out. She finally busted a whole into the wall and suddenly a flash. "Kate!" Faith looked around and saw nothing. Kate stood up and rushed over to Faith. "Are you ok?" She helped the slayer up and they looked around. They were outside, by the car. Cordy was standing there looking so sad and despaired that they rushed to her side. "What happened in there?" Faith rubbed her arm. Cordy shrugged. "Not exactly sure." Kate tossed their bags into the trunk and turned to face Cordy. "Remind me to start listening to Faith when you wanna go to the spas from now on." She got into the driver seat and waited. Cordy shrugged again. She was still unfocused. "Remind me to start listening to Faith when I wanna go anywhere."She slipped into the back seat. "Let's go home." Faith got into the front seat and settled in for a nice nap. Cordy leaned back and closed her eyes. She knew she had to choose but she wasn't doing it now. She was the strong one. So it was her choice and she would make it when she was ready. The End
